The Action Group is a non-profit, community Agency supporting adults and children with developmental disabilities. Established over 40 years ago, the Action Group provides services throughout Central Alberta from its main office in Lacombe and has an office in Stettler.

Adult Guardianship and Trusteeship Program
We assist with self help court applications to obtain Adult Guardianship, Trusteeship or both. There is a fee for service and we are able to provide free Commissioner for Oaths services.

Heartland Youth Center
The Heartland Youth Center - BGC Stettler & District (formerly Boys & Girls Club) is a non-profit, charitable organization located in the town of Stettler. Together under one Board of Directors, the Heartland Youth Center endeavors to develop and nurture the life skills of youth through community based programming with the support of families and volunteers. Annually we offer over 20 programs to approximately 350 youth ages 6 – 18 years old in the Stettler and surrounding areas.

Saving Grace Animal Society

Saving Grace Animal Society was founded in February 2018 as an animal rescue and shelter, operating as a low-scale rescue prior to that. Since it's inception, Saving Grace has been the go-to society for 24/7 emergency calls, rescuing animals all over Alberta and in to Saskatchewan.

The Stettler Connects Information and Referral Centre is a not for profit organization governed by a volunteer board of directors. We provide services that include information / referral, Senior supports, Community Volunteer Income Tax Program, Commissioner for Oaths, public access computer and telephone, Guardianship and Trusteeship application assistance, Central Alberta Community Legal Clinic communication facilitation, and Volunteer Centre activities. Our current hours of operation are Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 8:30am-4:30pm.
